Currently the first part of the comic is in development. The first issue has been written and is under review.
Once we are happy with everything I will break it down into a format TKOS can draw the issue from. We are shooting for a early 2018 release.

Welcome to the home of Sonic: The Prophecy of Scorch. A Fan Comic based off of the Sonic the Hedgehog comics from Archie. Our story takes place directly after issue #222 from the official comics. Our plans entail bringing new faces to the comics both in the form of OCs and characters that have yet to appear in the comics. We also plan on retelling stories that didn't get to see the true light of day thanks to the many law suits the official comic had to suffer through. Another thing to bear in mind is this fan comic is NOT a continuation of the Archie Comics it is our own story that branches off from #222. So the stories we plan on retelling such as Endangered Species and Naugus' Ixis Resurgence will happen at completely different times and circumstances.

Scorch has been in planning since 2009. Now that we are in 2017 that means this comic has been in development for nearly a decade. The only reason the comic hasn't been released yet is due to our irl circumstances. There has also been many, many changes to the way the story is structured to ensure our story telling is as high quality as it can possibly be.

Sonic: The Prophecy of Scorch will not entail the following things:

1. Our own OCs and characters made by Sega, Sonic Team, BigRedButton, and Archie will NOT have relationships besides a basic friendship. Our comic isn't about romance or trying to get them to be buddies with each other.

2. Requests for putting your own OCs, logos, locations, and plot elements into our comic will NOT happen. So please make no requests even remotely pertaining to any of these.

3. We are NOT looking to collaborate with anyone on Scorch or any other form of Sonic Fan Fiction. This is an endeavor we seek to accomplish ourselves. We are not looking for any extra hands on the project to put it simply.

This Deviant art profile is used by two people. Scorchy, who is the main writer and colorist of the comic. Then there is TKOS (TheKingOfShadows) who is the main artist and secondary writer. This seems like a confusing concept, but we figured managing one profile versus two would be much easier. When one of us replies to comments or requests we will specify who is replying.
